Initial inquiry
The best solutions start with the right questions
Regardless of solution we start with a conversation with our clients. We find out what you are trying to do, where and how you need your printed or electronic data outputs, the application of your data and logistics such as timelines and budgets. In these conversations we will also confirm your required communications and other protocols, the environment in which the machinery will live and conditions it will need to operate in. This gives us a clear brief to work from through the next stages.
1
Engineering proposal
We agree on the concept of your solution
Our engineers take the requirements identified in the initial briefing stage and map these out into potential solutions. This is presented to you in the form of an engineering proposal. Depending on your specific situation, this could be simple recommended configurations to our existing products, all the way through to a proposed bespoke solution. Key questions we ask ourselves at this stage are: Does our proposal meet your needs? Have we incorporated any assumptions? Are there any considerations we would need to understand/scope out further for a final solution? We also ensure at this stage that we have digested all pertinent technical information and data sheets for your products and any final output systems.
2
Design
At this stage we will have agreed a concept and will move onto designs – unless your needs are fully met by one of our existing solutions, then it is a simple case of recommending a product. At some point we will have conversations with your key project stakeholders. For example; your systems providers, internal project members, end users or data analysts. We ensure we ask the right questions to cover full understanding of your processes and requirements, even bringing copies of your equipment into our factory for validation and testing if required. Depending on the project we will work on both mechanical and electrical designs, producing all required schematics, drawings and overlays, including compliance documentation. You may also want us to brand your product as your own, which is entirely possible with our own in-house manufacturing process.
3
Prototypes/Proofs of Concept
Depending on how complex your solution is, we may even build a prototype (or proof of concept) of your solution and carry out end-to-end testing with your equipment.
4
Commercial Terms
We will agree commercial terms such as payment terms, commercial licensing and support level agreements. This will entirely depend on the unique circumstances of your requirements and complexity of solution. We are proud of the flexibility we are able to offer our clients within our terms.
5
Delivery of Solution
Our core aim is always to deliver a solution that meets your needs. This includes the logistics of getting your product to you safely and in an effective final state. We will ensure to understand and meet your geographic and compliance requirements, as well as any lead times and supplier network requirements.
5
Support & Aftercare
We provide all the support you need to get through the early days of working with your solution. Whether you are providing our solution as an integrated part of your OEM equipment or you are an end-user yourself, we will ensure you have the right aftercare package for your needs. We guarantee to support your product within its lifecycle, ensuring ongoing solutions for any component obsolescence.
