More than fifteen years ago, the company required a thermal printing solution and turned to Martel Instruments. We continue to provide printers and ongoing technical expertise to Midtronics and are delighted to have maintained our partnership throughout this time.
OUR APPROACH – A THOROUGH CONSULTATION
We worked closely with Midtronics and undertook a thorough consultation process, listening attentively to the team to gain an in-depth understanding of the company’s thermal printing needs.
Midtronics requested a mobile printing solution which would flawlessly integrate into its car battery testing equipment and meet its specific connectivity requirements. In addition, as the printer was to be used alongside Midtronics’ equipment it was essential that the printer featured the company branding.
With an intricate understanding of Midtronics’ thermal printing requirements, our technical experts harnessed their extensive equipment expertise to design a solution for the company.
SOLUTION – A CUSTOM PRINTING SOLUTION
We provided Midtronics with our MCP (Martel Case Printer) 1830 printer, a robust and reliable mobile printer which offers the RS232, InfraRed and USB connectivity required by Midtronics.
To cater for Midtronics global audience, we also provide a separate charging unit for both their UK and EU customers.
In addition, as a key factor was our ability to white label the printer, we customised the equipment so that it featured a Midtronics branded label.
OUTCOME – A LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIP
We are proud to have supplied thermal printers to Midtronics for more than fifteen years. In this time, we have adapted and developed our products and our approach in line with the advancement of Midtronics’ innovative technology.
