Labbox is an innovative way to link your existing laboratory equipment (such as analytical balances, torque and pH meters) to any LIMS or ELN system, acting as an ELN or LIMS interface to automatically transfer the results data, such as sample data, barcode sample identification, time stamp and user.

Labbox is powered by VIDA, our purpose-built data transfer hardware technology.
We configure the right communication protocols for Labbox to talk to your lab equipment and end data systems to act as your ELN/System or LIMS interface. The system is then set up to transpose your raw results data into the required formats for your end system (e.g. LIMS/ELN system), all in line with your internal processes and compliance requirements. Additional controls can also be added to Labbox to allow your lab technician to control processes and outputs e.g. time/date stamps, technician ID through keycard or RFID, data capture controls.
Your configured Labbox is then connected to your equipment and end systems using your specific communications protocols. Depending on the level of customisation, we may test a proof of concept within our testing lab here at our factory.
Your lab technicians can start automatically logging your data through Labbox. No manual entries, no opportunity for human error, no lengthy lab time spent data inputting – just more time for you to focus on value-added work within your laboratory. During the set-up phase we ensure that your Labbox is configured to give your lab technicians the control they need at the point of data capture, such as RFID/keycard identification, start/stop of data capture and any additional variables that may need to be matched against your results data.
Within the Labbox system, your data is transposed into the format you need and transported to your end systems, where your teams can remotely access it through their usual systems and devices. You can also log in remotely to the Labbox data in isolation from your systems and save out in a variety of formats such as csv and PDF.
