We’re at VentureFest North East on Thursday 28th November 2019 at St James’ Park, Newcastle.
Every year, VentureFest holds a networking event for businesses in the North East, also hosting an awards section for a range of categories called the North East Innovation Awards
In having won a Manufacturing Innovation award at Made in the North East Awards in 2017, we wanted to show our support to manufacturers in the region and sponsor an award at VentureFest 2019. The category we’re sponsoring is the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Award that praises stand-out examples of innovation as part of one of the region’s most important sectors.
This award celebrates manufacturing businesses in a fast-paced global marketplace who manage to save costs, quicken turnaround times and use innovative techniques to become more competitive. This year’s nominated companies include Big Purple Productions, Hyperdrive Innovation and Synergy VR
Winning an innovation award meant a lot to us as a North East manufacturing business and highlighted the successful few years we have had at Martel Instruments. Our work on our new product VIDA is supported by recognition such as this as we move forward positively in innovating and manufacturing technology products, creating bespoke solutions for our clients to help with the day-to-day challenges of their industries.

VentureFest is a leading annual networking event for local entrepreneurs looking to grow their businesses in the North East. Boasting over 800 delegates at the event last year, VentureFest gives local businesses a chance to connect cross-sector with leading regional companies as well as aspiring start-ups.
The North East Innovation Awards are delivered by the Innovation SuperNetwork in partnership with RTC North and acknowledge those who are going out of their way to support innovation in the region.
It’s free to attend VentureFest and is a chance for all regional businesses to come together to encourage new business opportunities, tackling challenges through innovation and collaboration.
